What will be youre role?

As Product / UI Designer you are responsible for creating the most agreeable and practical user interfaces and stunning visuals for our online and mobile service offerings, focusing on maximizing usability and the user experience. You will work together with product owners, tech leads and front-end developers to build innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.

Your role as Product / UI Designer consists of:

• Participating in all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering;
• Developing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks;
• Effectively communicating interaction and design ideas;
• Setting design guidelines, best practices and standards;
• Staying up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies and intriguing the company with new ideas, thoughts and observations;
• Maintaining and contributing to the design system;
• Creating and contributing to designs of multi-device digital products;
• Leveraging knowledge of web-based frameworks and user patterns;
• Working closely with the UX Expert and the Product owners

Who are we looking for?

As UI Designer you recognise yourself in the below profile:

• You have a Bachelor's degree, with a major in Computer Science, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Mobile Computing, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or a related field of study;
• You can look back upon at least 2 to 3 years of profound UI design and can present a solid portfolio of design projects
• You are interested in joining Napoleon Sports & Casino as employee. We are not open to candidates who are looking for a mission as consultant / freelancer.
• You have excellent communication skills and can speak and write fluently English. Speaking and writing Dutch would be a strong asset but no necessity;
• You are a creative and analytical person, who likes to work in team;
• You are highly organized, efficient and extremely detail-orientated (but not loosing yourself in details);
• You have strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction;
• You have a healthy flexibility to work with changing priorities;
• You have proven experience in working with: Sketch, Photoshop, InVision studio;
• Nice to have would be if you have already working experience with Axure RP/Adobe XD as well as with other visual design and wire-framing tools;
• You are familiar with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) and have a first experience in working with Agile/Scrum.
