Role Overview:

The McAfee Globalization team is responsible for ensuring the McAfee product portfolio has been designed and developed for global markets to a world class standard of quality. We are a high velocity, agile, efficient, continuous improvement team. Our team is looking for someone with object oriented coding experience which can be applied to develop QA solutions for our cross device portfolio. The candidate will be given the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and will be expected to bring their own innovation to the table. The team provide support to McAfee products across mobile, desktop and browser based applications and successful applicants would have opportunities to develop automation for a variety of platforms. This automation coupled with our QA practices are essential components in our product lifecycle enabling us to continue to deliver more products faster without compromising quality to our global customer base. We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about software testing, and wants to join our collaborative team to help drive the high quality of our product family

About the role:

The successful candidate will:

• Develop and maintain features for the existing automation framework
• Devise detailed test plans and perform exploratory testing to accompany automation solution
• Create automation for the McAfee product portfolio
• Be Quality focused
• Perform code reviews
• Apply QA practices across multi-platform projects in an Agile team environment
• Work with global teams and have good communication skills
• Develop tools for the G11N team
• Actively contribute to the localisation strategy in a continuous improvement cycle

About you:

• Knowledge of Object Oriented programming
• Understanding of software testing and validation
• Willingness to learn new technologies and perform manual testing tasks to supplement automation coverage
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Web Development experience
• Good knowledge of coding patterns and coding best practices
• Scripting knowledge of Javascript, Jquery, Python, Powershell desired
• Demonstrated skill using code repositories
• Continuous Integration concepts and best practices
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Understanding of Test case management
• Defect tracking
